A brass-plated crescent with the traditional man-in-the-moon's profile holds a matching star suspended from its upper point. Three brass bells hang from its lower horn, each suspended from a short chain decorated with a colorful bead.

The assembly hangs from a longer matching chain above, also decorated with beads. The wind chime has an imperfect, handmade look that gives it a broken in character.
