Description

Decorating one end of this distinctive wraparound ring is a horizontal ankh symbol, accentuated with an inner recessed field that is textured and darkened. The opposite end - which falls alongside the ankh - is flared and inscribed with ancient Egyptian-inspired symbols, similarly accentuated in black.

The ancient Egyptian ankh hieroglyph was known as the 'Key of Life' and symbolized mortal life on Earth and eternal life in the afterlife. It was worn as a protective amulet and used in tombs and coffins to help spirits pass into the afterlife,
