Broom Symbolism: The traditional witch's broom was made from an ash handle with the twigs from a birch tree tied to the end with thin pieces of willow wood. The broom is a symbol of the union of masculine energies (the phallic handle) and feminine energies (the birch used for the bristles is thought of as having a feminine energy) and is often used as a tool for cleansing and purifying a space before a ritual.
Beautiful Handmade Details: You will find that each of the brooms on this pentacle is not exactly the same as the other ones - that is because each one of the brooms was carved by hand. Most pentacles on the market have duplicated shapes and perfect geometries because they are created using a software program and printed on a 3D printer. I find that what makes a piece of jewelry beautiful is its variations and imperfections.
Contrasting Textures: The circle on this pendant is smooth and shiny, serving as a nice contrast to the highly-detailed texture of the brooms.
Nice Weight and Thickness: You will notice that this pentacle has a nice weight and substantial thickness. When I created this pentacle, my priority was not cost or efficiency - it was about how to make the most gorgeous pentacle possible.
