A crescent moon is paired with a small sparkling 'star' of cubic zirconia. Thanks to a gap at the front of the band, the two are not physically joined, so that they give the impression of 'floating' in relation to each other.

The crescent moon, encircling the star and very simply done with a smooth and polished finish, works almost as a backdrop to accentuate the more complex many-faceted surface of the CZ star.
