With an occultish-looking design, this Tetragrammaton pendant is full of textures created by the many letters, numbers and symbols, some of which are physically raised above the pendant's surface and others cut-out.
There is also good light/dark contrast too, as they are polished bare silver and very bright against their darkened oxidized background.
The reverse side has a lightly hammered finish.
The Tetragrammaton was designed to embody the totality of both the Divine and the Human. The original symbol was relatively simple, consisting of just two parts: Yahweh, the name for the four-letter Hebrew word for God, and the pentagram.
Then, through the years, the tetragrammaton was adopted by numerous religions and cultures who added to and embellished it according to each group's beliefs. As you can see in this pendant, the symbol can be quite complex.
