A distinctively-shaped section of a tree branch is the starting framework for this unusual bell. From its long thin limbs hang a variety of antique-like bells of different sizes, casually arranged primarily to balance the hanging branch. The largest bell hangs from the bottom of the 'trunk', which is suspended from a small cut-out metal pentagram at the top. A thin wire with a complementary finish is used to loosely fasten the bells to the branch and is looped looped at the top to act as a hanger.
About our bells: Each of our bells is handmade in our studio in Garden Grove, California. When we make them we try to bring together a variety of readymade ornaments, raw materials, and natural objects in a way that is organic and entirely human. We hope you enjoy them and all their imperfections, which we think gives them a casual and rustic character.
We make these bells without a specific use in mind; they're made to be used as you see fit - hung on doors or next to windows for protection, to clear negative energies around your altar, or as a useful tool in your witchcraft.
