This Eye of Providence symbol is set against a backdrop of a double pyramid - pointing both up and down. Rays emanate from the pyramids and the iris of the eye is circled by a ring of tiny raised studs, adding to its hypnotic effect.
The design is inscribed into a round disc echoing the eye and is blackened, making this a striking ring.
The Eye of Providence is surrounded by controversy and speculation, but originally the Eye was intended to be a symbol of Good: The Divine keeping protective watch over us earthbound mortals. The Eye is often framed in a pyramid, as it is on the back of a US dollar bill.
