These gorgeous pendants feature natural amethyst crystals in a deep, dark purple hue with a decorative teardrop-shaped knot at the center and copper wire radiating outward from the knot above and below. The opposite side of the pendant features a creatively intricate harness of braids and knots securing the stone in place.
Each stone is thoughtfully wire-wrapped by hand to complement its unique shape and features and to keep it secure. These crystals have a gorgeous dark purple color, which can be quite difficult to find.
About Amethyst: Amethyst is a semiprecious gemstone that comes in varying shades of violet, from lavender to vibrant dark purple. The word Amethyst comes from the Greek word améthystos, meaning "not intoxicated". About Copper: Please note that copper wire naturally darkens over time although with care and cleaning it can be kept bright and shiny. Also, when worn directly against skin, copper can react with your sweat to form a green layer of copper carbonate. This chemical reaction is not harmful, but if it bothers you, we recommend only wearing the pendant on top of clothing.
