This witch's knot - a representation of the protective knot used by witches in the Middle Ages to keep away negative energy - is intertwined with a circle, a symbol of perfection, divinity and eternity. Spaced between the arms of the witch's knot are four decorative scrolls that call to mind the lemniscate, the figure-of-eight symbol of eternity.
The knot is strung on an adjustable bracelet woven from fine but sturdy black threads and trimmed with silver beads.
This bracelet is adjustable: At its smallest, it's equivalent to a 6 inch (15cm) long bracelet, and at its biggest it's about the same as a 9 inch (23cm) long bracelet.
The bracelet is reversible: both sides are the same.
