A long wooden twig hangs from each of the five points of a black metal pentagram that is suspended horizontally. A round drum-shaped piece of driftwood that hangs among the twigs is the 'clapper' that bangs against the twigs to give the windchime its clicking sound. A strip of bark catches the wind and sets the clapper in motion. Tiny brass sleigh bells accent different parts of the windchime, which is held together with black cord, knotted at the top and left untrimmed.
About our bells and windchimes: They're all handmade in our studio in Garden Grove, California, created from a variety of natural materials and readymade celestial charms and talismans associated with protection, luck, and spiritual benefits. We blend these elements together in a way that is organic and entirely human. We hope you enjoy them and all their imperfections, which we think gives them a casual and rustic character.
We make these bells and windchimes without a specific use in mind; they're made to be used as you see fit - hung on doors or next to windows for protection, to clear negative energies around your altar, or as a useful tool in your witchcraft.
