Ce beau pendentif rond est un hommage à la reine Néfertiti qui, avec son mari, régna pendant la 18e dynastie de l'Égypte ancienne, vers les années 1300 avant JC.

Comme beaucoup d’art égyptien de l’époque, elle est représentée de profil. Représentée portant la coiffe distinctement effilée à laquelle elle est souvent associée, son image est réalisée en relief subtil, légèrement surélevée au-dessus d'un fond rempli de hiéroglyphes.

Le pendentif en argent sterling est oxydé foncé, donnant aux détails profondeur et lisibilité.
