Fenrir is a famous wolf from Viking mythology who rampages the world during Ragnarok and kills Odin, the All-Father. He is a symbol of wild strength, independence, loyalty, family, and a burning desire to free one's self.

The intricate look of the pendant is enhanced by the Celtic knots decorating Fenrir's head and the textured pattern behind the runes. The backside of the pendant has the same hammered texture.

The Elder Futhark is the oldest form of the runic alphabets. The word "rune" itself comes from the old Nordic word for "secret" and the runes are thought to have been more than just an alphabet - they were thought to have mystical connotations or powers.
