The triskelion, or triskele, is an ancient symbol dating as far back as the Stone Age, making it older than Stonehenge or the Great Pyramids of Giza.

It's made up of three spiral arms, arranged so that it seems to be always in a state of motion. As a symbol, the triskelion represents progress, cycles, and advancement, suggesting that we should always be growing as human beings and trying to become better in every way.

This triskelion has an added touch done in a very natural way: The spaces in between the three spiral arms are filled in with Celtic triquetra or trinity knots, giving the pendant a more decorative look.
