Marine biologists guesstimate that there are well over a million different species of life in the ocean, so it's not always easy to know which species a sea creature belongs to: Mammals, fish, crustaceans, and mollusks are just the tip of the iceberg.
The slightly bizarre but much-loved seahorse officially falls into the category of fish. But whereas most fish use their tails to swim through the water, the seahorse is not a great swimmer. So instead he uses his monkey-like tail to hold onto floating seaweed and debris in order to 'catch rides' for long distances across the ocean.
This pretty necklace features a seahorse with realistic features and spiny textures and is plated with pure silver which gives it a very bright whitish color to make it sing.
