When it comes to sea creatures, it's hard to say which is the most bizarre-looking, but a stingray would have to be pretty high up on the list. Also one of the most recognizable.
Despite their deadly appearance, stingrays are usually harmless – unless they're stepped on (they're bottom-feeders) or attacked or threatened. In fact, there's a beach in the Cayman Islands where visitors can enter the ocean alongside stingrays and interact with them. There's even a tradition there that kissing a stingray will bring good luck.
Here, stingrays prove a worthy design motif for these earrings, maybe because of their undulating triangular shape which tapers down to the curling tail, which is a cute ornamental touch.
These stingrays are mirror images of each other, so you can wear them tails-in or tails-out.
