Imperial Topaz is one of the rarest and most valuable varieties of topaz, prized for its vivid golden-yellow, sherry, and reddish-orange hues. It is significantly rarer than standard blue topaz (which is typically heat-treated). Unheated, natural Imperial Topaz falls into the upper luxury tier of colored gemstones.
These 2 specimens come from the Ouro Preto mine in Brazil, where most Imperial Topaz is mined.
They are about the same width: 6 - 7 mm.
- A is about 12 mm tall and weighs 0.9 grams
- B is about 21 mm tall and weighs 1.2 grams
In crystal healing, imperial topaz is deeply connected to the sun and solar energy. Key spiritual associations include manifestation, abundance, vitality, confidence, romance, and healing.
