Also called 'Fairy' quartz, Spirit quartz is the product of a natural process that took began about 2 billion years ago in the mountains of South Africa. The large points you see here formed first and much later developed a druzy crust made up of tiny secondary crystals. They were not discovered until the 1980s.
These two stones have roughly the same diameter, about 70 - 73 mm, measured around their crusts.
- A is about 32 mm in height
- B is about 38 mm in height
From a metaphysical viewpoint, Spirit quartz is believed to radiate energy in numerous directions, owing to its hundreds of crystals large and small. And because it is a joining of different types of crystals, it is also believed to promote harmony, cooperation and the resolution of conflicts.
