This inverted pentagram which points downwards, is the symbol that represents a Wiccan initiate's advancement to the level of Second Degree.
It is also a symbol of Satanism, a frequently misunderstood belief system that stands for individualism, personal empowerment, and the rejection of conventional religious and moral values.
This pendant has two embellishments which differentiate it from the more traditional symbol: Each of the five points of the pentagram is accented with a tiny three-dimensional skull that faces outward. Also, there's a raised pentagon in the center that connects the five places where the lines of the pentagram intersect. And those five points are accented with tiny studs, almost like a smaller, abstract version of the skulls.
The slightly larger size of this pendant and its increased thickness make it a little more substantial and heavier.
