This pretty feather ring has a unique variation: An oval centerpiece of luminescent lab opal.

The opal sits in its own crown-like setting of silver, raised prominently above the level of the feather, and like a cabochon it is nicely rounded and smoothly polished. 

The feather itself is artistically detailed with its defining central shaft and vanes clearly articulated, and a 'knot' where it appears to be tied to the ring's band. 

The silver is oxidized, which accents the detailing.
