This cut-out evil eye ring is given a decorative treatment with a beaded motif.
The pupil at the center is the largest 'bead' - a reflective dome - that is surrounded by an iris, a circle made up of many tiny matching beads. The top and bottom lids are lined with more beads sized somewhere between the pupil and the iris.
The beads are all set against a dark oxidized background to make them visually pop out, and the sclera - or 'white' of the eye - is cut out and puts even more focus on the pupil.
The protective Evil Eye symbol, such as this ring, is said to guard against the harmful 'Evil Eye', which is a malicious stare thought to bring misfortune, illness, evil spirits, accidents, diseases, insomnia, and even death.
* Even though this is an adjustable ring, please be aware that sterling silver is not a material that can be bent very many times before it breaks.
