Eco-Friendly Packaging

We have been working to make our packaging less wasteful and more environmentally friendly by phasing out more and more of our plastic packaging and replacing it with recyclable and biodegradable packaging. Your order will come in a sturdy, recyclable cardboard box with paper shred, our beautiful custom-printed velour pouches, instructions on how to clean your jewelry, and any meaning notes related to your pendant. Sometimes, a small amount of plastic is still needed to protect your pendant, but we try to keep this to as much of a minimum as possible.

We also work to save and reuse any materials as much as possible. Nothing in our studio that can be reused, recycled, or repurposed is thrown away. For example, we receive a great number of small plastic pouches from our suppliers and partner companies, as protective packaging for everything from jump rings to pendants. Most companies would just throw these away. We are careful to save all of them, which we give to people we find on Craigslist to reuse in their own small businesses or for their craft projects.

We also save and reuse all printing paper, excess packaging materials, and bubble envelopes. When we cannot reuse them, we find someone who can, rather than to throw them away. These may seem like insignificant actions, but we believe that when everyone does their part, however much they are able to, small actions can add up to a big difference.
