Beautiful Handmade Details: Each of the moons have a convex, sculptural shape. This is a detail you won't find in mass-produced jewelry because it is much more difficult to polish, making it slower and less profitable for large factories to produce.
Back-to-back crescent moons embellish the handle of this miniature athame, with a tiny flame sitting on top as the pommel. The blade is scalloped on both edges, echoing the crescent shape, and is further inscribed with a diamond pattern.
The grip of the handle is likewise inscribed with a woven herringbone pattern, and all the fine detail work has been darkened with oxidation, making this a very decorative pendant.
Ritual Tool: The athame is one of the main ritual tools in many pagan and Wiccan traditions. It is used to direct energy, draw symbols in the air, and cast circles during ceremonies and rituals.
Symbol of Air: In some traditions, it represents the element of air and is used to invoke and control air-related energies. It is associated with the powers of the mind, communication, and intellect.
