A crescent moon is set within a round frame and given a darkened and recessed 'raked' background to set it off. Tapered Celtic knots border the crescent on both sides like bookends and are designed to mirror the crescent shape.

The ring is lightly oxidized to bring out the details and give it a slightly vintage look.
